RecordWatch Becomes First Salesforce-Native AppExchange Solution to Track Report and Dashboard Views
RecordWatch's usage and adoption tracking expands beyond records, giving RevOps, SalesOps, and Marketing teams visibility into which Reports and Dashboards their users are actually engaging with.
Denver, July 20, 2026 — Oniic, developer of RecordWatch, today announced the Finch 1.8 release, adding Report and Dashboard view tracking to its Salesforce-native usage and adoption app. With this release, RecordWatch becomes the first solution on the Salesforce AppExchange to tell administrators, RevOps, and business leaders which Dashboards and Reports their users are actually accessing — not just which ones exist.
RecordWatch was originally built to help Salesforce teams track record-level usage and adoption. Finch 1.8 extends that same visibility to Reports and Dashboards, addressing a gap that has long left admins guessing about the return on investment of their analytics work.
"Teams put real effort into building out Dashboards and Reports, but until now there's been no reliable way to know if anyone's actually using them," said Shane Carey, Co-Founder and Head of Product at Oniic. "Finch 1.8 closes that loop. You don't have to wonder anymore — you'll know."
With Finch 1.8, RecordWatch customers can:
See who's viewing what. Track which users are accessing specific Reports and Dashboards, and how often.
Retire with confidence. Identify Reports and Dashboards that have gone stale before archiving or cleaning up fields — no more second-guessing a Report reference during an audit.
Measure adoption by team. Surface which teams are actively digging into analytics versus which ones may need more enablement.
Prove the value of analytics investments. Replace guesswork with data when justifying Dashboard builds or Report maintenance to leadership.
Finch 1.8 is available now to all RecordWatch customers and is live on the Salesforce AppExchange.
